PARTNERS
Partnership Opportunities with New York DECA
SPONSOR
Sponsors enable students members to attend conferences where they might not have been able to otherwise. Sponsors also open opportunities for low socioeconomic students to be members in DECA and benefit from the invaluable leadership training and career education.
JUDGE
As a judge, you will evaluate students in a competitive role-play where students will get to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom and create solutions to real business world situations. Be the difference and make a difference by volunteering as a judge for DECA competitions.
EXHIBIT
Exhibiting is one of the best ways to connect with DECA students and advisors (a.k.a. decision makers) face-to-face. New York DECA’s State Career Conference is the perfect venue to promote your brand, share your story, and recruit New York’s emerging entrepreneurs.
SPONSOR NEW YORK DECA
We believe every student deserves the opportunity to prepare themselves for college and career. New York DECA partners with industry organizations to make this happen! Whether you’re looking for an exhibitor booth, registration packet inserts, to fund a scholarship, or on-stage recognition, New York DECA will work with you to create a package that’s just right.
JUDGE A COMPETITION
Want to help students become college and career-ready? Judge a DECA competition!
We’re looking for judges at our annual DECA competitive events program on March 6 and/or 7, 2024, at the Rochester Convention Center.
To compete, students participate in both a written component, such as an exam or report, and an interactive component, such as a role-play, with an industry professional serving as a judge. That’s where you come in!
DECA’s competitive events are categorized into the career clusters of marketing, business management and administration, finance, and hospitality and tourism.
Competitors get to work as individuals and in teams in the hopes of receiving regional, state and international recognition. DECA’s competitive events directly contribute to every student becoming college and career-ready when they graduate!
Complimentary overnight accommodations and meals are provided for judges! If you’re not able to stay overnight, you can judge just for one day.
Please contact Cheryl Chamberlin @ [email protected], or Kris Casto at [email protected]. Thank you for your consideration!
